Unicontrol works with compact excavators, fit them with sensors, apply geodetic data on top and compile it into navigation and planning information. That information is displayed to the operators on an Android tablet, powered by the Unity3D game engine. The result is a modern, clear overview of the construction site for a centimetre-accurate guidance system. The system makes the work of the machine operator up to 30% more effective.

Build user interfaces on the Unity3D platformYour main task will be developing the software platform, user interface and related tools for Unicontrol3D. Your focus will be on developing the UI built on the Unity3D platform and in your daily work you will join the team of 2  other senior developers. The work is varied and you will have to bring into use your great mathematics and Unity3D skills when you build the solutions for complex 3D user interfaces, making them simple to use for the machine operator on the construction site. You will also be faced with tasks like test automation, engaging with the customers and big machine on visits on the construction sites.Learn more about Unicontrol3D

Skilled developer with a great understanding of mathematicsWe are looking for a “native” software developer. You have probably coded since you could use a computer and you have many years of programming behind you already. The system is built on Unity3D and you have at least 2-3 years of experience with Unity probably from building games or something similar where you have built appealing user interfaces and experiences. You are also a very strong C++ developer and can work independently at a high level. Your great understanding of the mathematics in 3D is absolutely necessary when working with the system in the unity3D engine. Understanding 3D space and movements and calculating movements of different excavators is essential to the development of the system.You will also be tasked with interacting with customers and visiting construction sites to interact with big machines to understand the real-life challenges and try out the software. You probably need to have a university degree within Computer Science, SW engineering, Gaming, Robotics or something else to succeed. Ready to apply or want to know more?Kold+Partners is handling the recruiting process.
